Warehouse Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY: The Warehouse Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the flow of work in the warehouse operation. The responsibilities include a smooth flow of goods in and out of the warehouse while assisting the Supervisor in overseeing a unionized warehouse workforce.
POSITION SPECIFICS
- Compensation Information: Up to $65,000 DOQ
- Schedule/Shift Information: Saturday - Tuesday evenings, 4-day work week

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
- Inbound scheduling/Dock Appointments
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) control and dispatching of workload
- Verify Purchase Orders
- Document administration
- Delegation of orders to warehouse employees
- Manage shipping process and reporting
- Create and dispatch cycle count jobs
- Print packing slips and other related documents
- Troubleshoot various issues such as but not limited to internet, orders, receiving and printers
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Previous computer knowledge using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Good customer service skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Previous warehouse experience or work within a processing or warehouse environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Be able to stand, walk, twist, turn, bend, the entire shift
- Lift up to 40lbs
