Wholesale Produce Supply, LLC, a trusted leader in fresh produce distribution since 1964, is expanding into the Southern Midwest with the launch of WPS Fresh South—and we’re looking for a skilled Operations Manager to help bring this vision to life.

What You’ll Do:

  • Launch & Lead: Play a key role in launching WPS Fresh South, establishing operational excellence from day one.
  • Drive Results: Own key performance metrics (labor efficiency, cost per case, line uptime, order fulfillment) and use data to drive improvements.
  • Ensure Quality & Compliance: Maintain product quality, monitor yield, and work with Food Safety to ensure audit readiness.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean and Kaizen principles to reduce waste, boost productivity, and foster innovation.
  • Promote Safety: Lead safety walks, enforce OSHA and GMP compliance, and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.

What You Bring:

  • Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution or food production
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with performance metrics and digital tools
  • Expertise in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and team-building abilities
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and coaching
