Sanitation Technician – Fresh Cut Area

Location: Minneapolis, MN Company: Wholesale Produce Supply Department: Fresh Cut (714 - Indirect) Status: Full-Time 

Start Date: ASAP Compensation: $17/hour

Position Summary

Wholesale Produce Supply has an immediate opening for a full-time Sanitation Technician in our Fresh Cut area! If you meet the qualifications and competencies we’re looking for—and can work in colder temperatures—we’re ready to train the right candidate.

Schedule & Benefits

Shift: Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM until finished; occasional Saturdays

Essential Functions

• Develop and refine sanitation SSOPs to support training and best practices
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and facilities
• Monitor and verify sanitation effectiveness
• Identify and resolve food safety or sanitation concerns
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to work effectively in team settings
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks
• Accountability, reliability and accuracy in work
• Must be able to read, understand, and speak English

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous sanitation experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, twist, and bend throughout the shift
• Lift up to 40 lbs. regularly
• Wear required PPE (masks, goggles, aprons, hairnets, boots) constantly
• Work in temperatures of 35–38°F regularly
