We are seeking an experienced Lead Diesel Mechanic to oversee our team of skilled technicians and ensure the efficient operation of our diesel vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel mechanics and a proven track record of leadership in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of diesel mechanics and technicians
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex diesel engine issues
- Perform preventative maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment
- Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed
- Train and mentor team members to improve their skills and knowledge

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record, class B license a plus
