First-Shift Diesel Mechanic

Salary: Up to $110,000 per year. 

Location: Minneapolis, MN

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated First-Shift Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong knowledge of diesel engines and related components, as well as the ability to effectively diagnose and repair a variety of diesel-powered equipment. This position offers competitive compensation up to $110,000 annually for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities: 

- Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on diesel engines, heavy trucks, and other diesel-powered equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, transmission systems, and other mechanical components.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately assess problem areas and formulate viable repair solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including data entry into company systems.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks adhere to industry standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety protocols and company guidelines.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems.
- Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training are a plus.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 5am-2:30pm. Must be available on weekends if business dictates.  Shift differential pay is available for evening and weekend hours determined by supervisor.
